The University of Dallas recently named Inelda Acosta, Ed.D., pHCLE, the University’s Director of the Office of Civil Rights and Title IX.
Former Democratic Congressman Daniel Lipinski, who represented Illinois’ Third District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2005-2021, has been named Pope Leo XIII Fellow on Social Thought at the University of Dallas.
The University of Dallas recently earned high marks of excellence from leading publications – including moving up to the #2 spot for “Best Value” among U.S. News & World Report’s "Best Colleges" in the West, as well as The Princeton Review’s Best 388 Colleges and “America’s Top Colleges” by Forbes.
The University of Dallas welcomed the 421 members of Class of 2026 to campus last week, the second largest incoming class in its 66-year history. About 49% come from outside of Texas, representing 38 states and 270 cities, and international students from as far away as Vietnam.
The University of Dallas Board of Trustees recently appointed Most Rev. Daniel Flores, S.T.D, BA ’83 MDiv ’87, Bishop of the Diocese of Brownsville, Texas, Mary Rice Hasson, Tom Craddick and Charles LiMandri as its newest members. The board also honored two long-serving trustees as they concluded their service, Cardinal Kevin Farrell and Mary Manning, at their June meeting.
