The University of Dallas' Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business is proud to announce a new partnership with Bishop Lynch High School. The partnership aims to further the Gupta College of Business’ mission to prepare students in a wide variety of management specialties, serving a range of industries, and will support recruiting, education and other key functions at BL. The educational partnership will leverage resources and create opportunities between the two Catholic schools.

Landry, Ph.D. “This partnership is a natural fit, and we look forward to welcoming Bishop Lynch’s employees into our classrooms."

“Bishop Lynch is honored to partner with the UD to further both our goals of providing quality, Catholic education to students in the Dallas metro area and even throughout the world,” said BL Principal Chad Riley, Ph.D., BA ’94. “At Bishop Lynch, we deliver a first-choice worthy college preparatory educational experience. This new educational partnership with UD is a natural fit with our mission and vision.”

As part of the partnership, any BL employee seeking a master’s-level business degree at UD will receive a scholarship for reduced tuition. University faculty members will also offer professional development courses for Bishop Lynch instructors either on the BL campus or online.

Another key benefit to the partnership will be student résumé review, mentorship for relevant majors and private recruiting events for BL students. 

BL will also have access to Gupta College of Business consulting teams comprised of a diverse group of MBA capstone students in their final semester of coursework. For the consulting project, the students will study Bishop Lynch’s new House System to offer research-based findings on the program’s increased mentorship, pastoral care and student leadership opportunities. The BL House System made its debut this academic year and helps to further promote the school’s mission to develop the whole person. The system comprises eight total houses; each house is named after a Dominican saint to honor the school’s Dominican heritage, is led by an appointed dean and includes 125-150 students across grade levels.

“Launching the new BL House System is an exciting paradigm shift for our student body. The fact that UD will provide research-based results on our inaugural year is tremendous for the program’s initial assessment and future development,” said BL President Chris Rebuck, MCSL ’18. “I’m looking forward to providing even more resources to Bishop Lynch students, staff and faculty through this educational partnership with UD.” 

BL joins a growing list of university partners, including Southwest Airlines, GM Financial, Michaels, National Black MBA Association, Prospanica, the India Association of North Texas (IANT) and CHRISTUS Health, among others across the nation.
